Is the 1st section of numbers for the cruises for 2 adults and 2 children or is it per person?

Thanks

I believe it is per person, the points go down for a third and fourth person, based on age if I remember correctly.

I thought that was the case. Thanks!

Bank Points, Use Present Points, and Borrow Future Points...might have to be the plan.

We booked a trip for next Apr, and it made the most sense to pay for DW and I with the points, and cover the 3 kids with cash. I would recommend doing an online quote for the cruise before you call in the DVC reservation. If you know which week you plan on taking vacation then you can quote the exact same trip with the onine booking system. That way you can work with them on the best combination of points and payment.

We booked two cabins for a Sept trip. Used points for the outside cabin due to that was the best deal and booked the inside cabin with cash.

Note that incentive prices don't apply to cruises booked on a points/cash combination. Keep that in mind when quoting. For instance, when DCL is running a "kids sail free" promotion, you still have to pay for the kids (points OR cash) if booking through DVC.

Using points for a cruise would be an absolute last resort for me.
