CRT lunch or dinner?

I know the menu is the same but which is the better option?
Day 1: Lunch at 12pm on my MK day (with park reservation)
Day 2: Dinner at 6pm as my 2nd park (have AK park reservations in morning and then hopping over)

Which is better timing (beginning of Jan 2022)? It’s to celebrate a special occasion! Thank you!

Id say it would depend on how much time you have to visit AK on another day, and how much do you want to do AK. Have you done MK before? Preferably I’d get to MK at rope drop, get in as much of the best stuff done, then lunch at the Castle. That leaves you all the rest of the day to work out MK things. MK is a full day park.

For a birthday surprise for my wife we are having lunch at the Castle towards the end of our forthcoming trip. The hard part is keeping it a secret... lol. Luckily she isn't on this board, and she doesn't use the MDE app... so fingers crossed I surprise her! It has been at least 20+ years since I have eaten in the Castle, so I'm looking forward to it.

Have a great time surprising her. Over the years the atmosphere still wows only the food quality had been inconsistent. I'm one too that creates surprises for DW on our trips and I also struggle to keep the excitement in check before I spring it on her. Fortunately my DW has never figured out what I'm up to before hand.
