Crowds...

Just curious to know wot the crowds are like at the mo. We're off to the world on saturday and from wot ive heard its still pretty busy and crowded.
Hows it been over the past couple of days, wot r the average wait times?
We went this time last yr and nothin was more than a 20 min wait, im hopin for the same this time round!
also, hows the weather???

I'm leaving Monday for Walt Disney World so I can't help you with your question about the crowds/lines, but I looked up the Weather forcast and it calls for rain and thunderstorms starting Friday and lasting all the way through Monday. The average temp looks to be in the low 80's.

WDW has been more crowded in the last few months and even now with kids back in school after weekends you should always plan on busy crowds on weekends and even consider planning of park visits anticipating crowds even if they do not occur. I went to WDW in May 02 after 9/11 when travel and tourism was really down and slow and although the parks were not crowded it still got busy at some rides on a few days in certain parks and locations. So plan in advance for possibility of crowds by planning day, using fastpass, and adapt to change as needed. Have fun!

I just got back from the world and it was a little more crowded than we anticpated. They had grad nite going on fridays and saturdays and i believe they are this weekend too. McDonalds also had a big conference while i was down there so that may have attributed to the crowd but overall wait times were not bad. You should have no problem.
