How should the crowds be the week of November 16. I am taking my 4 and 6 YO daughters for their first visit, and I am really hoping for a less crowded experience.

We went the week before thanksgiving last year, and it was empty the early part of the week - walk on most rides. However, come Friday, the crowds start pouring in. We were thankful we were leaving on Saturday morning!

We go during the 2nd week of November, and generally this is a wonderfully light time to go. Indeed, it may start filling up on the Friday before Thanksgiving. Overall, this is considered one of the best times to go. And the books and concierge may be able to tell you which parks are emptier on certain days. For example, Magic Kingdom is fabulous on Sunday mornings. Hit the park early, and then go to Crystal Palace for lunch with Pooh and Tigger and the gang. That's what we do. Have fun.

Just came back last night. Must say the crowds we much smaller than last year. Thursday's wait for the bigger rides (Spl Mtn, Thun Mtn, etc) were 10 - 20 minutes and it was extremely hot, so Splash should have been about 40 minutes.

We waited the longest for Test Track on Monday and it was 35 minutes. Soarin was 60 minutes. I think this was because of the holiday weekend with Veteran's Day falling on Tuesday, some schools closed Monday too (based on conversations with people while waiting on line).
