Value season starts 1/1... if I booked a trip 1/6-1/12 how would the crowds be? Does it seem to empty out after the Holidays? Any information would be appreciated; thanks!!!
we went on jan 4th of this year, it was fantastic. we only wait for an hr for 3 rides and one of them i dont understand why.
Pirates of the caribbean - magic kingdom hr wait no fast pass
Space mountain - magic kingdom hr wait no fast pass
Winnie the Pooh - magic kingdom (why an hr wait no clue other then they only seat 4 per car)
other then the lines we not bad at any of the park. when we go back it will be in january again. not to mention that i work for a school district so i get dec 21 - jan2 off then i take vacation for 10 more days and dont go back till after mlk day. so im off work for a month almost depending how the days fall.
We stayed from Jan 4th through the 14th this year. The crowds were OK from the 4th through 7th (the marathon weekends last day). After that the parks really empty until the following saturday (MLK weekend), then they pick up a bit but not like before the marathon weekend.
Last year (2006) we stayed from January 8th through the 15th and the parks were pretty empty during the whole week. Our only wait was soarin' and it was only 35 minutes w/out a fastpass.
We are planning on going back either this january or the next and we will arrive the sunday that the marathon is over and stay 10 days. We decided that we would rather face the small surge of MLK weekenders than the holdovers from new years eve and the marathon.
