Crowds right after Halloween?

Anyone have ideas about crowds starting the day after Halloween through the first week of November?

Pretty light around that time. Crowds really don't pick back up until Thanksgiving week. It's a great time of year, the Christmas Decorations are just going up, some are already complete.

As for wait times, expect 5-20 for most everything, possibly 45-60 for Everest, Test Track, and Soarin.

Weekends

How about the weekends in November? Is traffic still light in the parks? I'll only be there for Saturday and most of Sunday Nov. 4th-5th? Any events I should be aware of?

You should be alright in Nov. No events I can think of at the moment.

You still have the Food and Wine festival going on in Nov. through the 12th. That will increase the crowds in Epcot over the weekends and maybe evenings with AP holders. Otherwise you should be fine. There are very few times now that you see WDW with the small crowds it used to have in Oct. and Nov.

Wine you say?

Food and Wine eh? Well, an added bonus to my trip.
Does this cost extra?
And does it take place all day, or are their specific hours?
I have very limited time in Disney and want to make sure I cram everything in.

Weekends are usually busy, especially Saturdays at MK. It's million+ locals that live within driving distance that boost attendance. Ecpot can easily handle the local crowd increase.

The Food And Wine festival runs all day everyday from early October through mid November. The dates seem to change each year. It's great time, good food and very good drink. There are booths set up all around World Showcase highlighting food and drink from various countries, Ireland, Greece, Spain, Poland, Peru, India, etc. There are also musical performance by has-been bands like, Chubby Checker, Eddie Money, Three Dog Night, The Beach Boys, etc. All this is included in the standard Epcot admission. However, they do offer specialty seminars and dinners which cost extra and usually require advance registration.
