Crowds on Wed, Dec 28?

Hi all,

We were thinking about going to DL tomorrow (dec 28), but we wondered how the crowds usually are. I know that this week is a busy time, but we have been several times in the summer and while it was crowded...it wasnt too bad. Are the crowds usually just summer vacation busy or are they REALLY busy this week? Will going on a Wed. make much of a difference?

As the recent major article in the Orange County Register stated, Disneyland will be extremely crowded all this week. It doesn't matter which day you go, the week from Christmas to New Years has always been the busiest week of the year for Disneyland since the 1970's.

The Register article quoted a Disneyland Vice President as saying they fully expect to stop selling day tickets to Disneyland and close the turnstiles to any new entries by mid day. So if you do go, plan on arriving by late morning and don't try to leave the Park, because they probably won't be able to let you back in.
