Crowds Now?

Can anyone tell me what the crowds are like at WDW now that the Easter Holidays are over. The reason I ask is that this is the time of year I plan to go next time I visit WDW.

Thanks

Um...not to be a wise- or anything, but shouldn't you be asking this question next week when everyone who is there now gets back?

I was there last week. It was still kind of crowded but managable. Depends on what kinds of things you want to do.

We did the popular stuff in the morning before the parks got packed, grabbed Fast Passes for other popular stuff as we went, and did mass-loaders and theater style stuff in the heat of the afternoon which got us past the crowds.

Is Mission: Space supposed to be open next by next summer or next spring. I forget. If it's spring--as in by spring break (barring unforseeable disasters) I'd assume an attraction of that ilk will bring a bit more people back to WDW, particularly if the marketing geniuses get ahold of promoting it.

But hey, look. I just kept your thread alive and now it will be on the top of the post boards. So maybe someone who's just getting back tomorrow or Thursday will see it right away.

:D

One other thing I forgot to mention. As of last week, there were a lot of Brits at the parks. Seemed like every other person we ran into was from Great Britain. We talked to a few and found out that they get three weeks off for Spring Break. We also found out that there were apparently some incredible deals to get them to cross the Atlantic.

Might be worth researching when the Brits are out for their Spring Breaks for next year. I'm sure once the majority of them head home, the attendance will be a bit nicer.

But since you want lower attendance when you go, see if you can avoid their mass exodus to the states if at all possible.

Do you all get approximately the same time off? Are you depended upon a schedule--like a school break? If so, then at least you'll be comforted by knowing that if next year is anything like this year, a lot of your countrymen will be there. It had to have been about 1/3 of the crowds present in Orlando.

But if you want thinner crowds, go when the U.K. doesn't let all its kids out of school--which I guess is the same principle we try to use here because we all kind of know the whereabouts of when U.S. kids get school breaks.

I was there frm the 6th-12th and sun and mon at the MK were awful, we went to the MK on sunday and there were abt 85,000 people there per a cast member and 80,000 on monday. Sunday i had to leave by 3:30 due to the crowds. Went back on wednesday and the crowds were not bad at all, waited all but 10 mins for HM, SM and BTM, rode them all in a span of 30 minutes...hope that helps! All other parks were very easy to get around, small crowds, but the Test Track at Epcot was very slow, even with a fast pass.......
