How have the crowds been so far this week?

We went two years ago and it wasn't bad at all and we're planning, at least that's the plan for now, to go to Disney next year from Saturday to Sunday so pretty much staying there Memorial Day weekend and that whole week...

We got back yesterday - it was crowded and HOT, HOT, HOT!!! We got to MK about 9:30 Friday night and it was crowded due to the 24 hour event - we left at 3:00 AM and it was still crowded. Since it was a Star Wars weekend, DHS was crowded Saturday (and I will assume Sunday as well). MK was crowded Sunday. So, if Disney does another 24 hour event next Memorial Day, expect a crowded MK all Friday and early Saturday, along with the expected crowds at DHS for Star Wars. But well worth it. And we are going to do it again, next year. :)

We would not hit the parks Saturday, we would arrive in the afternoon and just hang out.
Sunday I was thinking about hitting MK just for fun,to hang out and then hit say AK on Memorial Day, hit Uni some time that week, Epcot early in the week, hit a water park for the day mid week or so and then finish it all off the following Sunday with MK...we did something similar and it was pretty smooth.

This past weekend was soooo hot I wanted to LIVE at the water parks....

As i was there just for 4 day weekend i will add that it was very crowded in spots but if you kept adjusting to the locale of crowd and go in opposite direction/park you were good, but, add in, that while i go every few years and there is usually a good world crowd, this weekend was packed with a VERY large overseas crowd(many Europeans)so guessing with exchange rates better that influence may have impacted crowd factor too... and yes it was HOT, this summer going to be tough!

we always go the days before memorial day and than come home on that monday. Thursday the 22nd was great. MK was the early hour park and nothing and we were able to do fantasy land and tomorrow land by 1:30. Later that night, we had the dinner package, did the muppets, posed for pictures with Phineas and ferb, great movie ride and fantasmic. Friday was busier because of the 24 hour party and splash mountain was broken, but from 10:00 to 2:00 we did the carpets, pirates, jungle cruise, dole whips, tiki room, big mountain, haunted mansion, lunch at Columbia and liberty steam boat. Later that night Epcot was very manageable.soarin had a long wait, but we had a fast pass and of course, test track was broken. Saturday would of been a good day at Animal kingdom because of the early hours, but the temperature hit 100; so we were out of there by noon. Sunday morning was crowded at HS because of star wars weekend, but we had fast passes planned out in advance. The park was scheduled to open at 8:00 and by 8:05 toy story had a 70 minute wait. By 12:30 the wait was 2 hours.(again it was 96 and humid). sunday night it poured at Mk, but it was the still the busiest park because of the late extra hours. In future trips; i think i would go to another park on the last night. The real key is scheduling the fast passes 60 days out and use them in the morning, so you can add more if your time allows

It's gonna be average to bad, I imagine.

Touring Plans has the crowd rating around 6 out of 10.

by chance I'm going the weekend Mark Hamill is in the celebrity parade. I already know what to expect, lol.

last sunday wasn't bad except for toy story. star tours had a 10 minute stand-by until they finished the Jedi training session; than it went to thirty minutes. Some of the meet and greets had 15 people in line by 8:05.

I was surprised at the crowd level, I really didn't think it was that bad this weekend. We did the 24 hr event, and it was pretty tame all day, and Star Wars on Sunday wasn't that bad at all, I thought it was going to be shoulder to shoulder people all over the place and it wasn't. Other than being pretty warm and I was still a bit tired from the 24 hour event, I thought it was rather tame.
