Crowds January 1-6, 2009?

Can anyone give me some insight into the crowds for January 1-6? Everything i have read states that the crowds on Jan. 1st will be heavy, but the 2nd through president's week is pretty quiet. The room rates i have are at their lowest, also. 82 at all star. Can anyone give me more specific info? Thanks alot. Bringing 3 nephews for their first visit ever, they are 6, 6, and 4, along with my 4 year old who has been a few times. Can't wait. Thanks for all your help.:wave:

I will be there from the 1st until the 8th. I have been told the crowds are very heavy on the 1st (I will be enjoying the hotel the 1st day). It seems that after New Years Day, the crowds will be thining on a daily basis. Have a fun trip!!

Most school systems in the US start back on 1/5, so expect the crowds to thin a little more each day. By the afternoon of the 4th, it should be pretty slow and stay that way until you leave.
