Crowds in July?

My wife and I are looking at possibly going this July because the prices are better than June...though how are the crowds in July...specifically July 8-16 usually?

3 words - hot, hot and hot. And winter break for the school kids in South America, so expect many groups of minimally supervised teenagers.

Better pricing that gives you a break always helps. Going slightly after the 4th will benefit you but expect moderate crowds. The heat will be more oppressive by having to tolerate the humidity. And youll get those periods of rain that comes and goes quickly. Plan well and youll have an enjoyable time.

We've been multiple times in July and while we have seen tour groups, the crowds haven't been bad (aside from around the 4th). I've seen so many who refuse to go over the summer because they don't like the weather conditions, so that may be some of it.

The free dining offer starts July 5, I believe. That may or may not increase the crowds a tiny bit.

We go every mid-July and love it. Get to plan some early pool days and then go to parks when everybody else is leaving. Crowds seem to be less in the summer because of the heat.
