Labor Day weekend probably very busy. Sept 10-12 could be busy, too. We're going during the week and it's usually very slow (at least it has been that way the last 3 years).

Slows down from summer months...
Wait times for E-ticket still range between 30-50 min during peak times, but not as bad as summer 70 min waits.

An easy guage is hours of operation.
When the park isn't open late, it usually means not as busy.

See here

Labor-day weekend is last of the "big" weekends.
Lots of local traffic...but manageable.

P.S. Weekdays are the best times to go anytime!
P.S.S. There are 'special functions' going on 9th-11th...that's why the park closes at 6.

Adivise for Superman

Hey Soop.......my wife and I go to WDW every year, and we ALWAYS go the week AFTER Labor Day week....NOT the week of Labor Day (for example this year Labor Day will be the week of Sept. 6th...so our trip is planned for Sept 11 thru the 18th....Anyway, we have NEVER experienced HUGE crowds during that week...ride times AVERAGE 20-40 minutes tops!!! By the way....I hope we run into some of you guys who will be there around that time!!! Hope this helps you out Superman!!!! :D

All of the above is true. Sept is no mid to late Jan...but none the less its still a good time to go as everything will be slowing down in terms of crowds.

Also I liked the golden rue mentioned above. The earlyer the MK closes the less crowed it will be.

I had noticed the MK was closing early 6 pm  so it looks like i am going to epcot and mgm on fri and sat, than goto the MK on sun when i believe it is open till 8 :sohappy: Since we only have a day in each park, Im hoping the crowds will be minimal

I would watch that.

Some guest see/are told, to stay out of MK on days when there spceial events are going on.

Now if a normal guest would see this is up in the air...but I am thinking the MK might be just alittle bit more crowed once the events are over...

But then there is nothing really that can be done about that. Just a heads up.
