Crowds during early December

I was wondering how the crowds are going to be in early December (5-14). We went last Feb and the parks were do-able and enjoyable most of the time. (Meaning smaller crowds and coold weather) Is it similiar?

And speaking of weather.... We had mild days and some very cold nights in Feb.. can I expect the same in Dec?

And should I book a package for Fantasmic, or will it not be too crowded... I mean like in summer where the crowds start to line up hours beforehand?

In 1996 I went around the time you are going and it was pretty manageable-low crowds and wait times. We walked on many popular attractions. The weather was beautiful for our entire trip-mid 70's and sunny.

(Now in 2000 we went a mere week earlier and it was packed-high wait times and lots of people. And the weather was very extreme-for half our trip it was high 80's-90's and very humid and the other half was is in the low 60's and overcast-what a difference a week makes!)

I am sorry i can't help you with Fantasmic, though, I am sure someone else can.

I am sure you you will have a wonderful time no matter what-WDW this time of year is just so beautiful! Hope I helped just a little

Hi Melora the crowds are not bad the first two week of
Dec. I have been going to WDW at Christmas for about
16 years and its great time to go and this year there is
the meet where people from this sight and other are going
to meet the first to weeks in Dec.Plus theres a shirt with
WDW Magic on that Main street USA made up that great so
we can find each other and say hi. there more you will have
to find the post to learn more.

Crowds during 1st wk Dec.

You shouldn't worry about crowds during that time period. My Wife and I took our honeymoon the first week there. No crowds. It was a little chilly at night. Take a jacket just in case. No lines for attractions. I think the longest we may have waited anywhere was 15-20 minutes. (typically) your fastpass attractions.

We really enjoy that time of year. It's not hot, no crowds, and no wait times for rides. Enjoy your trip.

Hi Brian and Rachel,

Please check out the thread called December as Meet month. It has all of the information on it. Many of us will be there and we will be getting together at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on the 4th and the 9th and we have a Fantasmic Dessert Party on the 5th.
