My friends and I are heading down December 5th-December 13th and staying in a wilderness cabin. We were wondering what kind of crowd to expect at our resort and the parks. :xmas:

Best time of the year to go. Crowds tend to be light to moderate depending on the day of the week. we always go around that time.
Sssshhhhhh don't tell anyone, then everyone will come. ;)

Booked my trip at Shades for Dec. 11-16. I believe, and hope, for a very nice week weather-wise and guest level-wise. The calm before the end of the year storm.

My first December WDW trip. Will be an experience. Just wished that the Adventurers Club, Comedy Warehouse and Mannequins would have been open at Pleasure Island.

If weather is great, will hit Blizzard Beach in December during the holiday season and try my luck at Winter Summerland put-putt golf.

Staying at Contemporary 4 - 12 Dec

We ahve been coming to WDW for many years at this time, and the crowds are always thin at this time. We have always had wonderful cool weather except for one year when it was very cold and rained the entire time we were there, it was a almost unbearable. We usually stay either at W.L. Poly or Cont. Make sure if its your first time to go to go to the deluxe resorts to see the Chriatmas tress and decorations they are wonderful. This will be our little girls first time to go, and we cannot wait to see her eye light up when she sees all the christmas decorations.

December

We are heading down at the same time...Dec. 7-14. Staying at the Beach Club Resort. This will be our first December trip and our second trip this year. I'm hoping for light crowds and nice weather. But if the ADRs are any indication...there are a lot of booked restaurants. One reservation specialist was telling me that she was getting a lot of "local" (Florida residents) calling for dining. She said to expect a lot of people at EPCOT for the Candlelight Processional.

At the resort you should expect a lot of really fun Disney Christmas decorations. People who camp and stay there over the Holidays decorate their campsites and cabins just like they would at home, it is always fun to walk around and "site see". Even the golf carts are decked out! Have fun!
