Crowd Levels

I'm traveling in mid-September in which the park hours are cut short. Does anyone have an idea of what crowds are like and if things like FastPass and Priority Seating are necessary?? Thanks!

Even if the parks are empty, I'd still use fast pass and priority seating. It makes thing so much easier and you'll be 'guranteed' a seat to where ever you go. And if the parks are empty and you get fast passes, you can go on your favorite attaction twice if you want. :D

Reservations are @ WDW-DINE.

Rob: Can you make PS arrangements in the Park using the public telephone just like that? For that same day?

Forgive me if this is a stupid question. I'm just learning! Never been to WDW before.

Thanks!

CROWDS

Crowds in Sept. are usually pretty small after the first week! I also agree with still making priority seeting. It makes things easier and you have to worry less!:animwink: In fact, the only thing about Sept. you may have to deal with is hurricane season!

Park hours reflect the number of guests likely to visit the parks. Therefore the less hours the fewer guests. However, as everyone has less time to do/see the attractions I would suggest making the most of FP & PS

I have gone the last couple years in sept. and never had to use fastpass or Priority seating. I walked in to any place in epcot and there want more then a 10 min wait any place i ate at. Includeing the most popular, but you do have to worry about the weather thats about it.

The lines are really short the longest we waited was test track like 10 min.

Oh.....thank you so much Jeff!!!! :sohappy:

We know for sure that we want to do at least one breakfast at Chef Mickey's.

Not completely sure about the others. Considering Hollywood & Vine for the Fantasmic package, but then I've heard about the seating being too far to the right and that you could get better seating just by showing up for the show 45 minutes ahead of show time.

I've heard about Spoodles and considered trying that. I, myself want to go to Planet Hollywood, not so much for the food, but just to see it!

A co-worker told me that we must do the 50's Prime Time.

What suggestions do you have? Any would be appreciated! :D

Oh!!! I forgot....my husband has got to go to Wolfgang Pucks. He loves to cook and watches Wolfgang and Emeril all the time. His dream is to open a five star restuarant one day and I think he would be absolutely wonderful at it. He does all the cooking at our house.....how lucky am I? I know!!!!!!! :D :D

And where is the place that you get the Tonga Toast? I forgot.....but I believe that I would just love that!

I say Do the 50's Prime Time for sure i never had more then a 15 min wait for that one in sept.

Planet Hollywood i think has a Wait No Matter what time of the year it is. I went there last Year Waited About 35 Min But I Think That place is overpriced and never go back there again.

Pretty much any Place In epcot Is empty and you can walk right in, At least i have in the past couple Years.

I have never eaten at any of the other places you listed i stick mostly to epcot. Where is spoodles at never heard of it?

Spoodles is at the Boardwalk Resort. I have heard that it was great food and reasonable pricing.

I can understand what you are saying about Planet Hollywood. I did find some coupons ($5.00 off) for there and plan to use them too!

What about the Rainforest located downtown? Have you been there?

i have gone to the Polynesian Luau and made ps the night before and had not problem also

Spoodles is great for breakfast. I went there in 2000 and had a buffet there, boy it was delicious!!! As for Rainforest cafe...it's okay. I've tasted thier food, and I'd have to say there are other places out there that's just as good to eat at (it's mostly atmosphere). I'd highly suggest a character breakfast (Ohana), I did it with family and they had a BLAST. They didn't expect it to be so much fun, we spent half of the time eating and the other half having fun with the characters. As for Wolfgang's...MMMMmmmMmm (be sure to head to the restaurant on the West Side, there's cafes too). If you're into different types of food, give Morrocco a shot. It's really good and nothing TOO exotic. Entertainment is fun too, got to belly dance on my birthday.

As for my priority seating arrangements, I usually called early on in the day to make reservations and got a spot. I have yet to call weeks in advanced to make a res.

Happy dining!!!
