Crowd Levels during EPCOT F&W festival?

Coming down in October for a VERY quick trip with my 4-year-old for a Tuesday night MNSS Halloween. Decided that I might be disowned as a father if he didn't get to ride the new Test Track, something he's been dying to do since he first saw youtube videos of it. Bit the bullet and bought 1-day tickets for the day after the Halloween party. I know that EPCOT crowd levels do spike during F&W time, but am I right in considering that mid-week, especially as we will be leaving the park by about 3 or 4pm, we shouldn't get hit too hard?

You should be fine. The crowds mid-week are moderate to low. And even when it does get busy, Future World stays slow.

F&W will be crowded on the Wednesday evening since it's EMH until 1100PM, but during the day should be fairly quiet. Tuesday morning is EMH for Epcot, so it might be a little more crowded mid-morning, however, at 8:00AM opening it should be fine.

But that's a fun day, Epcot during the day and then Halloween party in the evening/night.

That would be what a non-insane person would do. We are flying down Tuesday morning, i will let the little (maybe not so little anymore, sigh) guy play at the pool until about 1, then a couple hours nap if the room is ready, chill in the lobby at the disney movie if not, before heading to MK about 4 for the party, then stay there until after the fireworks at earliest, then up bright and early Wednesday for EPCOT until we have to leave for the airport. Because i am a crazy person. At least I am instilling in him early to do ridiculous things to your body in order to enjoy Disney Parks.
