Crowd Levels Around Memorial Day

Can anyone enlighten me as to what the crowd levels might be the week before Memorial Day? We are looking to go 5/18-5/27, which means our last weekend would be Memorial Day weekend, departing the day before Memorial Day. We've been in Mid-May and Early June before and the crowds have been reasonable.

We were there the week leading up to Columbus Day this year and it was awful; easily the busiest we've ever seen, and that includes 6/2000 and 6/2003.

Can anyone help?

we went the exact same time in 2005. It was extremly hot that week. Lucky we stayed at the Boardwalk and took many mid day breaks. The week leading up to the weekend wasn't bad.

That weekend was crazy. MGM also has Star Wars weekend, which didn't help matters.

It was still a great time, you should have to know what to expect and allow yourself to be limited.

We are OK with the heat. WDW was so crowded this past October that we had a hard time getting back for naps, which drained us all.
