Crowd Level Calendar?

I looked at the calendar, and I have a hard time believing it's predictions. I have gone to the world every September for the last couple of years and we RARELY ever have to wait more than 10 minutes for E-Ticket rides and quite often we just walk on. We normally go the week after Labor Day and the calendar says that we should expect 60 minute waits???? I don't know, but that sounds hard to believe. If it happens this year, I guess I will blame it on Jinxing myself....:hammer:

Other calendars rate October as busier than September but this one is the other way around.

Thanks for the link, merfman.

Zjer, we predict the worst wait time of the day at the MK's headliner attractions, not what any individual will see as their worst waits. (That'd be impossible, of course, since we don't know what attractions you're going to see, when you're going to get to the parks, your touring style, and so on).

I believe the Crowd Blog explains in sufficient detail why we chose the MK's headliner attractions to measure (short answer: everyone knows Space Mountain), and why we chose peak wait times (short answer: worst-case scenarios seem to be easier to grasp than averages).

faz1964, hope your trip went well.

Len--

Do you anticipate any changes in early October, with what seems to be sounding like a busier-than-years-past time? I've been following the blogs all summer long, and I feel like I'm as prepared as I can be :)

Why are you saying that things are busier-than-years-past. This thread

is reporting that the parks are totally dead.

things are slow right now--mid-September. I am hopeful that the trend stays that way, but the combination of free dining, F & W Festival opening weekend, MNSSHP, and Fall Break in some Southern schools is making PS nearly impossible through the first week of October at a lot of restaurants. October has always been busier than September, I just hope this October is isn't WAY busier.

I see. I am going down right after Thanksgiving and I hope things are slow that week too. :)

I have been then before and it was great but I know the economy is much better now than it was then.
