Crowd increase?

Hello all!

I am officially 48 days out! It's killing me!! Ahh! I have a question though.

It seems from some of the threads I've been reading that it's been more crowded than usual. I arrive on the 15th of December and we will be visiting Magic Kingdom (16th),Animal Kingdom (17th),DHS (18th) and Epcot (20th).

What are yor thoughts on crowd predictions? I've looked at some calendars on various sites and it looks promising?

Also, are there parks that will probably just be less crowded in general? I don't know! Any info will help!!

Thanks in advance!

The fall is less crowded than the summer, but the days of it being really uncrowded are over and have been for a while.

Pack layers, because you never know what kind of temps you'll have. :)

We have gone that same time the past 4 years and arrive on the 14th this year. While not crazy busy, all the parks are moderately crowded. But we love going during the holiday season and focus on other things besides attraction wait times.
Agree with @luv...pack layers. In 2010 it was blustery cold (morning temps in the 20s!) and last year we had 70s.

I'm going around the same time too :) Just for two days on the 15th and 16th.

I agree with everyone else - the days of uncrowded parks are over. We went last year at a time when one of the popular sites told us it would be super quiet. It wasn't. To put it lightly, it was crazy busy. There's just no guarantee anymore, but Disney during the holidays is spectacular.

We are going the 14th of December for the first time during the holidays and are really excited. In the past it has been in April, May, and October so we are looking forward to seeing the holiday decorations and special events. I am wanting to see the gingerbread house at the GF and the Osborne lights at DS.

I was there last year during the same time and the waits weren't bad at all. If you do encounter longer than usual wait times try enjoying some of the holiday things that don't require waiting. The decorations at some of the resorts are incrediable. :)
