Crowd difference for last week in February/first week in March

Is there any difference in crowds/attendance between the last week in February and the first week of March or are they pretty mch the same? My DH just found that he may not be able to take the second week of March on our trip off so we may push the vacation back (ahead?) one week into February. I know this sounds like a silly question but when we went in December of 2000 one week was packed and the next was deserted! Quite curious! Anyway Thanks in advance :)

My husband and I were at WDW this year at the end of Feb. through the first week in March. The crowds were great! Most attractions had very little wait. MK was a bit more crowded, but it usually is. We thought it was a great time to visit, although, this year is was pretty chilly a couple of days. Have a great trip!:)

READ MY LIPS....DO NOT go over President's Day weekend.
We had traveled to DW several times in February, convinced it was the best time to go...then last time, unknowingly, we booked over President's Day weekend. Crowds unbelievable...mostly from the East coast and Europe...big vacation period there.
Be careful...any other time in Feb. is perfect.

You do not want to be there for President's week. Being from Louisiana we usually try to make a trip around Mardi Gras and never had much of a crowd to deal with. This past year Mardi Gras was on Feb 12 the following Monday was President's day (I think the 18th) and the place was packed. My thinking it was so crowed this year because of the proximity to Presidents day and not the Louisiana crowd. The crowds grew daily till the weekend. FYI - Mardi Gras is March 4th so there will be a Louisiana flavor there that week.

Another hint, be careful about the month of March too. Spring Break goes for around 2 weeks in the middle of March. The crowds aren't near as bad as the summer but you can easily wait from an hour to 90 minutes for popular attractions. I have experience this twice...this year from 3/8 - 3/16 and two years ago from 3/17-3/24. Trying to help.
