Trip Report Crowd calendars - not sure how good they really are???

We just returned from our annual WDW trip; we stayed at Pop Century from 10/16 thru 10/25. We had a wonderful time as always but it was pretty darn crowded. The Magic Bands worked great and being able to pre-set our Fast Passes was awesome. We got to do what we wanted to do and our 10 days helped with that - if we were there for less time - we would not have been able to.

We looked at several websites that had Crowd Calendars; a few free sites and a few paid sites. All had our week as the 4th to 5th best week to visit WDW. If these crowds are the 4th to 5th lowest of the year, GOD help those visiting on weeks 51st and 52nd.

Do you think the posted crowd calendars are just a wild guess or have things changed that much with school breaks and the Free Dining offers???

I believe those crowd calanders just take the previous years daily attendance and guesstimate on that. Remember they r only an estimate, not fact. It seems like twice in the past 2 months they were way off. One week in sept and one week in oct were "very low crowds" yet it was extremely busy...

The calanders are a good way to see what u will be up against, but remember it is only an estimate, not a guarantee...
