Critiques Wanted! Halloween+ Plan

We did not intend to take Mr. Littles to the world until potty trained, (especially since we cloth) but a conference for me came up and we decided to give it a go. He will be just shy of 2 and we are staying at CSR, then possibly doing a split-stay at CR with a move either on Saturday or Sunday. This will be a very different trip than usual, and hubs and I are looking forward to doing all the kid stuff we never considered when it was just us. Hubs does not do firework blasts, so we will not be doing late nights at the parks. The ability to take a stroller nap for Mr. Littles has yet to be determined, though he manages to do it when babywearing. This is what we are thinking for park plans, regardless of split stay:

  • 10/28: Arrival day will get us to CSR around 3pm. Will tour CSR and DTD if time allows, dinner, resort movie/campfire
  • 10/29: While I'm in sessions, hubs and Mr. Littles hit the pool. Around 4, head to MNSSHP with focus on parade, pictures, and characters
  • 10/30: Same early day plan. HS in the afternoon. FP to TSM for sure, with GMR, Voyage of LM, B&B live, M3DV, and/or Disney Jr. for the other 2 depending on what attention span looks like closer to 60-days out.
  • 10/31: possible transfer to CR day with luggage drop in the morning. AK with Tusker House lunch planned. FP+ safari and festival of lion king, then Winged encounters, triceratops spin, the trails (possible nap-time while walking through) rafikis planet watch, and boneyard. Back to the resort for dinner and Halloween festivities.
  • 11/1: second possible transfer day with luggage drop in the morning. Epcot for Nemo, turtle talk, spaceship earth, living with the land, character spot, figment, and either Marrakesh or Biergarten for lunch (the boy loves to dance!). We will either do the World Showcase stroller nap or go back to the hotel. F&W is neutral for us - though we may decide to do another adult night to take it in if we like the sitter.
  • 11/2: MK! Use the 2-day touring plan for little kids. Hubs and I are having date night at Cali Grill using a sitter. May start the day with CP, mostly for the photo-op.
  • 11/3: MK touring plan day 2! Harmony barber shop, photo with Gaston, and BOG lunch are on the must-do list.
  • 11/4: Morning departure - no park (we may stay an extra day if the price is right, but it's a remote possibility).
I would love feedback, particularly from toddler experts. We plan to hit DL and DLP within the the next 5 years and likely DW at least a couple more times before he is 12, so this is not a do-or-die trip. We want to savor the experience as much as we can since we know this is more about us than him. We will get memory maker, but a consumer camera recommendation would be great too - we are not bringing the D4 to the park!

I love a woman with a plan! Sounds like you have really got a good schedule going. If you don't want to bring a stroller, you can always rent one, if you change your mind about carrying your toddler. I wish you could get to DL this year too (since you mentioned it) since it's the Diamond Celebration. :) You will be at WDW long enough that if the day seems to be too long for your toddler, you can do the rest another day or another trip. Enjoy your time there!
