Creepy Ride Concept

So an idea just appeared in my head a minute ago for a darker ride, not something you would really see at disney. I normally think of fun and happy ideas, but for some reason this one just felt like a good one!

So the rides set in a little run down country town. The town is almost empty, the grass is long and dark, the wind blows at an eery speed, the houses are old and worn out and there is nothing for miles past the town except withered corn crops. Your a visitor in this town, simply driving through on your vacation. You ride in a LPS (Location Positioning) Car, this evokes fear in the riders as they do not know which way they will go next. As you enter the town, there is a large but rotting wooden sign that reads...

"Welcome to the Town of Morsville! A Safe Place."

As you drive past the sign, a man emerges from behind it. He is a red headed man, freckles cover his face. He wears a red checkered shirt and worn out blue overalls. He talks to you in his hillbilly voice...

"Well Howdy folks, you visiting our little town? Well that's just great now isn't it! Be sure to talk to all the nice folks, they'se just love meeting new people. Except for them Jeffersons who rolled through the last week, we didn't like them."
He pauses. His face turns rather angry and he looks left as if he's remembering something. He then returns back to normal.
"Well have fun!"

I haven't really planned out the scenes for the ride, but I know the basis of it all. As you venture through the town you meet many different creepy yet kind people. You are then forced to drive inside one of the houses were each room is filled with more creeps. An example of some of the characters are:

-A man who points his rifle at you and asks kindly "Could you tell me if my barrels clean?"
-A young girl at a broken old lemonade stand who quietly sings "Free Lemonade, Come get your Lemonade."
-A tall middle aged man standing next to his bin outside as he puts his large bag of garbage out. He notices you coming and smiles as if you know something he wants you to know.
-A large woman in her mouldy kitchen who reaches a knife out towards you and asks "Would ya mind helpin me cut?"

These charaters and the dark, dull setting would help the ride achieve it's main goal. To confuse. If you haven't realised from the dialogue yet, it leaves you unsure of wether these people are trying to be friendly or hinting to something sinister. You are completely unaware until the final ending scene, continued in my post below....

To ensure the guests don't leave wondering wether they were evil or kind, this ending scene reveals all. You find yourself in the dark basement of the house you entered. A light turns on to reveal the man you met behind the sign. In his hands is a double barrelled shotgun. He is completely different to all the characters in the sense that he is friendly yet evil. Almost as if he has no control. He says the following dialogue while loading up his shotgun, try to imagine it for full effect...

"Well I hope you enjoyed our friendly little town,"
*Opens Shotgun*
"It's a shame your leaving so soon."
*Loads 1 shell*
"I was just starting to like ya'll."
*Loads 2nd shell*
"Well,"
*Closes Shotgun*
*Points at guests and looks down sight as he says the following...*
"I hope you have a pleasant day."

He then stops focussing down the sights and for just half a second he looks at you with both eyes wide open and a small smirk emerges on his face, revealing his love for murder. He pulls the trigger setting off a loud bang and turning off the lights. A blast of compressed air shoots from all angles at guests to really give them the feeling of the gunshot. You then drive out to the exit area, a cemetery. Your name is projected onto a gravestone with the date.

I know the ride is way to dark for Disney but I just felt like the characters and the story would be really cool in a ride, maybe even without the ending?

So please leave me thoughts, ideas or even criticism! I want to know so I can learn!

Ya'll have a pleasant day :)

That's really good! I have always wanted some sort of creepy or scary ride at Disney. Although unlikely that will ever happen, I love your idea.

I actually like the idea of your name displayed with date. I think maybe the Haunted Mansion should incorporate this with next gen. Yet I may get banned for saying that so it wasn’t me who said it, it was this guy->

Thanks! I really appreciate that! And yeh I agree, for me fear is better than thrill.

Thanks for the praise, but I don't get what you mean the name with date?
