Alright folks! Time for something new and different for the Imagineering thread. Something that I would like for the ones who are interested, to participate in, as we dream up an ideal Halloween Horror Nights event for 2018. Over the next few months leading to this years Halloween Horror Nights, we would have compiled a great amount of interesting content centered around your original ideas. Once, Halloween Horror Nights begins it's festivities, I will then leave it to you guys to vote on the mazes, scare zones, and characters that were submitted in this thread. Winners will have their concepts become part of the official wdwmagic's 2018 Halloween Horror Nights!
The following is an original idea intended to be a scare zone.
Taking place in the New York section of the park (near Revenge of the Mummy), is Nightwalker: Criminal Intent. Where mysterious murderous hackers roam your neighborhood at night to abduct and terrorize you to death!...
The experience begins when you hear that creepy tune begin to play. Seconds later, guests encounter a shady van pulling in slowly into the streets of New York. Another van follows behind and parks it to the side adjacent to the first van. Suddenly groups of 4 men donning black masks emerged from their vehicles and huddled up before stalking the streets. A big man, covered in black, perhaps the leader begins to speak in poetic fashion. "Once again, the time has come, to invade the homes of everyone. Our net-growth has reached it's peak, tonight we embark to prey upon the weak." All of the masked men then scattered throughout, scaring guests. The big man continues: "Tonight, we're looking for Philip and his wife, Susie Sotolongo. The anonymous couple that decided to challenge us from afar! However, far we are not! We stand outside they're yard, ready to strike... Gentlemen! It is that time... STRIKE!" The masked men continued to haunt, meanwhile, additional masked men (some who discreetly showed up without traveling in a van) march over to the big man with the couple tied up. The woman, kicking and screaming. The husband helpless and beaten. The big man glares over his victims and says: "Such a rookie mistake you amateurs made, I'll tell ya! You believe you could barge into our livestream and assume the role of superhero? How idiotic and pathetic!" The screaming wife struggles to break free. "You must be Susie, you're thirty-three years old, you used to work as a bus driver at Disney World, and you're big on the Star Wars crap. You met you're husband through Plenty of Fish in 2016 and have been married for 6 months. Wow, I gotta tell ya it's too bad, till death do us part had to come so fast! I mean no offense but are you stupid? You should've known better and steered away from the Red Room. Not to mention, that reporting us was a lethal mistake. You can already tell that I know you inside and out. I even know of secrets you're husband keeps from you too! He's had an ongoing affair with your best friend, Traci Sherwood. And you wouldn't believe when and where it started... On your wedding night! Oh-ho-ho! Seeing your husband in the state he's in now, makes you happy, now that you know the truth. You're more likely to be inclined to want to finish him right now, don'tcha? However, I cannot allow such violent activity from occurring... After all, you're going to our next star! The big man turns to look at his masked comrades. Fellas, take Fifty Shades of Grey with you. Susie Soso is riding with daddy! Hahaha, load her up!" This poor innocent woman is being overpowered into the back of the van while her husband is thrown viciously into the other van. Big Boss, (I guess I'll call him that) sticks around for a while, posing and performing spontaneous off-script dialogue. While the other performers continue to terrorize walking guests. After a few minutes, Big Boss and a few of his stooges, depart in their vehicles, leaving a handful of scare actors to remain in place-scaring people. In minutes another set of two vans (or cars) arrives and they'll start a new story and it continues to transition like that throughout the night.
