What crazy stuff have you heard at or about Disney? On my last trip, I overheard two preteen girls saying that a mature animation arm of Disney makes South Park, Family Guy, and Beavis and Butthead. On the same trip, I overheard a guy asking a Cast Member for the location of "the SpongeBob rollercoaster at EPCOT."

While I was walking under SSE in Epcot last week, I heard a conversation from behind me......
Man #1- I wonder if they know how many triangles are on this ball?
Man #2- I'm sure someone counted them while they were putting them up.
Man #1- Yeah, because it would be too hard to climb up there now to count them.
Woman- This sounds like a question you would hear on Jeopardy..."How many squares are on the Epcot ball?"

My guess? ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My guess would be three, and they were all standing behind you. :P

There was a good one years ago how the Castle can be dismantled in case of a hurricane. I really wanted to ask those people where they heard that one. I'd say a bus driver but even they wouldn't perpetrate that fraud.

Almost every trip I hear someone say that Space Mountain is in "Spaceship Earth" at EPCOT. It's almost always an adult male saying this. Never a child and I've never seen a woman do it.

Variations on this are:
* That's Space Mountain!
* Lookit Space Mountain!
* Where's the line for Space Mountain?
* After we look around we'll ride Space Mountain!

For some reason, people think that the Space Mountain ride is inside Spaceship Earth.

What, is that not true? A Disney Bus driver told the whole bus that during my first visit in 1997 and that was one of my interesting facts about WDW! I honestly thought that was true.... o_O

My favourite is that Walt is frozen and kept in a vault under the castle! Oh dear.

It is a Class 2 Frequency 16 Icosahedron, with each of the 60 isosceles triangle faces divided into 16 smaller equilateral triangles. Each of those 960 flat panels is sub-divided into four triangles, each of which is divided into three isosceles triangles to form each point. In theory, there are 11,520 total isosceles triangles forming 3840 points. In reality, some of those triangles are partially or fully nonexistent due to supports and doors; there are actually only 11,324 silvered facets, with 954 partial or full flat triangular panels.

I hear people always say how Harry Potter land is in Disney World. It also annoys me when people call Magic Kingdom Disney world.
A big one is that once while in WS, a Russian tourist walked up to me and kindly asked where's the Russia pavillion. This is how the conversation went:
Me: Sorry there isn't a Russian pavillion.
Her: yes their is it was here last time
Me: sorry I think you're confused, there is no Russia pavillion.
Her: yes there is.
Me: no I'm sorry but there isn't. I think you are mixing them up.
She then yelled at me and Russian and stomped away...I speak some russian and I'd rather not post what she said

That's why you keep a guidemap tucked away in a back pocket. :D
