Crazy Pop Question

We are all booked for a week at Pop this summer. We are trying to figure out where we like to request our room to be (we didn't pay for preferred). Last time we were in 70s which was great, but would like to try one of the others, mainly so we are closer to a pool. Which now leads me to my crazy question.

At the pools do they play the music associated with that decade? I think my kids would like to be in the 50's buildings, but DH and I love our 80's/90's music.

I'd suggest the 1950's since it's as close as your gonna get to classic hall. The 1960's I do believe you can request and is also close to classic hall. Here's the map so you can see where the decades recide http://www.kingdom-travel.com/Walt_...Pop_Century/Disney_Pop_Century_Resort_Map.pdf

Each decade plays music of that era..So if your in the 70's you'll hear The Hustle, Car wash, Staying alive..80's Saftey dance, Material girl..Etc..

Hope this helps.

Well, the 70's buildings are just as close to Classic Hall, and in my opinion are actually a slightly better location because they're on the end of Classic Hall with the food court and bus stops.

Only 2/3 of the 60's buildings are Preferred, so you could still ask for one of those. (The non-Preferred rooms are on the backside of each building, facing toward the lake)

Building 9 in the 80's section is also a good choice, as it's near the Computer Pool, and also a quick walk to the food court and bus stops.

On our last trip to the Pop, we were in the 80s. It was a great location. Right next to the pool and incredibly close to the Classic Hall, when cutting through the parking lot.

We always ask for the 80s or 90s section when we stay at Pop Century. The walk to the food court isnt bad if you cut through the parking lot. Its at the end closer to the bus stops for mornings when we decide to get breakfast at the park or after a long day at the parks.

My friend loves the 80s so we always request that area. Last time we were in the 90s building but it was awesome because we were right by the pool and just a short walk through the parking lot to the main buildings. I think I'd rather stay there then pay the extra to stay at the buildings by the main pool which is normally louder.
