Crazy Idea: Hollywood Terror Nights (Name in Progress)

Based on the continued success of MNSSHP and HHN, I think Disney could do great things by throwing their hat in the ring for an unsettling/"scary" event while still keeping that Disney feel. I would love for people to jump in with their own ideas on how to tweak something but I do have a few design philosophies that I personally will be sticking to.

No gore/blood. (other than what would be allowed on a Disney TV show or movie)
Characters should always feel like their characters. No true evil Mickey or Goofys. Nothing that would ruin the image of a character

(These two rules are mostly to make the actual idea something that Disney could feasibly do)

So anyways: I present my ideas for an "scary" Disney event.

Sunset Boulevard + Tower of Terror - "Twilight Boulevard"
The ghosts residents of the Hollywood Tower Hotel and surrounding area have stepped out into the night. Old starlets, producers, and bellhops drift along the boulevard in their dated costumes, faces pale and eyes glinting in the dim light. A creepy mist seems to continue throughout the area. Distorted jazz plays on a loop as the figures jump at guests.

Inside the Hollywood Tower Hotel, the lobby is inhabited with a few actors depicting the ghosts of the guests who went up the elevator on that faithful night. They chat amongst themselves and greet riders before they enter the Library.

Rock N Roller Coaster "Blackout"
- The soundstage has gone completely dark. The power's out and you skip the preshow as it's clear no one is left in the building. Similar to Space Mountain, all the lights are turned out during the coaster and a new death metal track has been added to intensify the feeling.

Animation Courtyard - "Villians Unbound"
The villians have all escaped their portraits, but the heroes are trapped inside pushing and pounding on the glass to get out yet unable to break free. A mysterious green mist swirls through.

All of the villians will be out and about with specific ones meeting in the M&G spaces inside the building.

Toy Story Land: Sid’s toys have taken over the backyard, desperate to get away from him. You can now meet Sid as a character outside of Toy Story land in the neighboring Pixar Place along with Syndrome taking over Edna Mode's Lab. Sid's toys are creepy and will startle you for getting too close. Large speakers will play large sounding booming footsteps and calls from Sid seemingly from the other backyard, causing all of the toys to freeze. TSMM has a new purposefully scary overlay where Sid is having a sleepover with Andy and some of his toys are trying to switch places... with you! Shoot the toys back to delay their progress as you go through Andy's room.

Galaxy's Edge: The worst has come to pass. The First Order now has concrete proof of the Resistance hiding in Batuu. They have completely invaded the area, covering it in red as stormtroopers walk around to scare and search anyone for immediate identification. Whispers from the nearby buildings have scared inhabitants hoping that the night is over soon.

And so completes Disneys “scare zones” and ride overlays for this event… but food, entertainment, and some more is still in store

I know with houses there’s Alien, Predator, Ready or Not, and other horror films & shows. If it becomes successful would it also come to DCA?
Its an interesting divide to have no gore with some of these properties but I think Alien could defo work. DCA is hard because it already has an event with some elements that would be lost for kids.

Houses:

Midnight Suns: Mephisto's Reign:
The Sanctum has been been overrun by Mephisto's Demons, making the perfect job for the Midnight Suns. See depictions of Dr Strange, Moon Knight, Blade, Elsa Bloodstone, Ghost Rider, and more as you pass through the Hallways of the Sanctum before taking a final stand against Mephisto himself.

Alien Infiltration:
You're part of a salvage crew responding to a distress beacon from a seemingly abandoned Space Station. What you find inside is worse than anything you've seen yet as another lifeform has seemed to take hold. See, feel, and smell the sights and sounds of the Aliens.

This is a small start for the basic description of these houses before I go indepth on each of them.

(Houses would be swapped out based on the year and could eventually grow, other ideas I had would include Sid's House, 20,000 Leagues, Hocus Pocus, Disney Villians, Guardians Cosmic Distress, Star Wars, Tower of Terror, SCI-FI Drive In, Backlot Horrors, and an animation based house (themed to a discarded animation character out for revenge)
