Crazy idea for Blizzard Beach

I’m going to preface this by saying I am totally on the side of people who do not want IP’s shoved into every section of the park and am not excited about Guardians nor was I that hyped for Frozen in Norway. However I do accept when IP’s fit the setting such as Nemo in the futureworld aquarium.

So...why not reskin Blizzard Beach as Frozen?

I know Frozen is overhyped to death and I too am sick of seeing Elsa and Olaf everywhere however this actually makes sense. You already have the story of a freak snowstorm in Florida and have snowmen and ice everywhere in the park. How hard would it be to put some Olaf’s in there and a statue of Elsa or something? Maybe a meet and greet at Elsa’s summer lodge.

I think it could really bring some life back into the water parks that I personally feel like Disney neglects a little bit. People would definitely be more interested in Blizzard Beach if they knew that Frozen was recently added to the park.

I could see it fitting as some slides and a smaller theme throughout. But I'm not certain I would like to see an entire water park based off a movie. I know its crazy popular right now, but sometimes I like more of a generic Disney Vibe.
I'm not saying they wouldn't do it though, Disney has done all kind of things that aren't my personal preference.

I hate to say it but I do agree with this. I think Blizzard Beach's theme has aged and does need some life brought back. I don't agree like you said putting things where they don't belong ala Frozen where it is now, but this would make some sense, maybe not the WHOLE park but definitely a section. Now, if they touch Typhoon Lagoon....

I have to preface this by saying that the only Disney water park I’ve ever been to is River Country.. but, I think a kiddie area themed to Frozen, or maybe just one slide and a few references throughout a “blizzard” water park, would be really neat.

I haven't been there in a long time, but I saw a photo online with Kristoff and Olaf hosting some Winter Summer Games at Blizzard Beach.

Yeah, that was around the time Frozen came out.

But re-theming the entire water park? No. The water parks have a broad appeal. The last thing they will do is aim it squarely at the under 8 year old girls and their families.

Maybe a complete retheme is a bit too far however changing the kiddie section or something similar would work. I just can’t believe Disney has a whole park based around snow and ice and they haven’t included Frozen as an element yet.

No he didn’t. To have a conversation, you need to give reasoning as to why you feel a certain way. If I wanted just Yes or No questions I would of made a poll.
He's offering his opinion. I can understand you wanting more info, but no can be an acceptable answer.

I'll offer my opinion: I would hate this idea. I didn't like what they did to the maelstrom, and I don't think Frozen has the same longevity of other Disney classics imo. It was popular, but its no sleeping beauty, snow white, etc.

The did include some Frozen themeing with the Winter/summer games. Low risk/cost for them and probably brought in a good amount of people who would of never went there otherwise.
