Entertainment In Test Track Queue

Whatever happened to the crash test dummies that used to come out to entertain the guests waiting to get into test track? Also, there was a guy that came out and did a juggling act and I even remember one time, a few of the CM's broke out a few beach balls and threw them into the queue areas for people to hit back and forth while they waited to go inside.

They were pulled due to constant performer injuries, and troublesome costume design

The crash test dummies were actually pulled cause of budgeting...sorry folks....but i hope they return some day also.

true, I could've added that as well... after ToN came around, all of Epcot's Entertainment budget went down the tubes, but still.. those other 2 reasons were definitely contributors. Just trying to keep this positive (especially since now, when something is no more at WDW, cutbacks are automatically implied)

How long ago were they there - I've never seen them on any of my visits (all April) - are they just used at busy times ?

they were there from the rides opening, until fall 2000 when they were yanked

I always found the dummies (at TT) a bit annoying, kept on trying to get me to pose in pictures! :hurl:
