CR to Airport Travel Time

I was getting ready to make my arrangements for transportation back to the airport. How much time should I allow for that? We are staying at the Carribbean Resort and traveling via Mears Transportation to Orlando Airport. Should you still allow at least 2 hours prior to boarding the plane for checkin? Also, any thoughts about the fact that we're returning home on Mother's Day in the middle of the afternoon. If anyone could please help advise I'd greatly appreciate it.

I don't know how Mears works exactly. I've never flown to Disney.

I would leave Carribean Beach 3-4 hours before your flight is scheduled.

i agree with TLB. 3-4 hours before the flight leaves. Better safe than sorry.

I think you tell Mears when your flight is and they pick you up at a certain time depending on the flight. I don't think you choose when you leave they do.

I went to their website to make the arrangements and you have to select a time for pickup yourself. You put in your flight information, but the next box is for pickup - it doesn't automatically pick it for you. That's why I'm not sure.

I thought that is how it works. We always rent a car so I never went through any of this stuff.

When using Mears Transportation to and from the Orlando airport, when they drop you off at your Resort they instruct you to call them within 24 hours of your leaving the resort.

When you call them they will ask when your flight leaves and they will schedule a time to pick you up. They will get you to the airport in plenty of time to make your flight. This has always been my experiance.



This is for domestic flights only. I'm not sure how they handle international flight situations.
