CP pay system

I have a question concerning how they pay CPs, I have heard a few versions, can someone please verify which one is true for me?

1. The time after 40 hours is 1.5 time. (But this does not seem to be true, as my friend got 32 straight hours and the rest as benefit hours last week, according to her 'My Hours Worked' on the portal)

2. The time after 8 hours a day is 1.5 time.

3. If I work on my 2 regular days off, I will get all the hours on that 2 days as 1.5. (I worked the whole week last week, but that did not happen).

So which version is true, this is all so confusing! THx

The routing number is the number they use to route your money to your bank. Each bank has a different one. It would be on a check at the bottom next to your account number. If you don't have checks and nothing from your bank gave you information about direct deposit, I'd give your bank a call.

Finally, something in my area:) Talk to your local leader first, then you can ask them for the labor hotline. Don't trust the 'my hours worked' on the portal because it's RARELY accurate. CPs are covered very similar to PT/FT cast members. You do NOT get OT on your 2 days off UNLESS you have already completed 40 hours. Just think of it this way, anything over 8 in a day or 40 in a week is OT. For STCU contracted areas, anything over 14 is DT. For non-contracted areas, anything over 16 is DT. The reason your friend had 32 ST and the rest OT was because last week was a holiday week, so Full Time Cast members got 32 straight, 8 holiday and the rest OT, provided they didn't call in the day of, day before or day after the holiday. If you need more info you can PM me and I'll assist.

I do not know if the CP guidelines are the same as FT/PT, but here is the way it works for FT/PT.

Anything after 8 hours a day is time and a half (unlike most companies where you must work 40 hours a week before you can accrue overtime).

Anything after 14 hours is double time.

If you return to work with less then 6 hours between your shift you will be on "double-back" (double-time).

On your sixth consecutive day of work you will receive time and a half.

If you work on your regular "preferred" day off you will receive time and a half.

If you work on a holiday and it's your regular day off you will not only receive holiday pay (8 hours straight pay), but you will receive time and a half.

Now of coarse there are all kinds of premiums for different types of positions within WDW, these are pretty much based on the type of job being performed.

I think I pretty much covered everything, I am sure if I didn't someone will chime in and say so.

As far as time displayed on the portal, that stuff can get tricky. Just get in touch with some at the deployment base or labor office and ask them to explain it to you.

Please note a few corrections
1.) CPs are not eligible for holiday pay
2.) double-back is less than 8 hours between shifts
3.)Sixth day-OT does not exist unless you have completed your regular 40 hours (just dont think in terms of days, think in terms of hours).

CP's also do not get double time for less then 8 hours between shifts. They only get time and a half.

Disney does not do overtime after 40 hours its all based on the number of hours worked in a day.

6th day OT, to my knowledge only applies to FT CM's.

CMs/CPs can get double pay one other way I just cant remember how. I saw it on a friends pay check the other day but when they asked me how they got it I couldnt figure it out.

Disney DOES do over time after 40 hours. (it's my job to know AND do just that).

The labor office is so backed up a lot of times in many areas that they will from time to time make mistakes in your pay. Trust me, I have a weekly list of hours that I was beat for.
Bsummer, O&T or frontline? If you ever have a mistake in your pay, you can call 407-939-5226

This is an old post but CP's definetly get double back pay if there is less than 8 hours between shifts. Almost all the same rules apply to CP's except for holiday pay.
