CP interested in learning pyro through Disney...

Hey, I'm not sure where to put this, so I'm sure an admin will move it to an appropriate location.

My favorite attraction at Disney isn't even a ride, it's the nighttime shows (Wishes/ROE/Fantasmic). I've always been fascinated with pyrotechnics, and want to learn about them, more than just common knowledge.

I'm down here until January on the college program, and was wondering if anyone knew where to go/who to talk to about shadowing Disney's pyro crew, or just how to get started in any networking form.

Unfortunately shadowing has been nearly eliminated for non-business need. Especially for CPs. Your best bet is to ask for a one-on-one. PM me and if I can figure out how the PM thing works I'll give you a name to speak with about a possible one on one.

AFA doing pyro...you have to have certification to do it, and even then, it's moot outside of Disney. One of my friends was considering a job here until he heard that.
