Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations when it comes to the educational offerings. I'm a business major so.....

And also I know they say dress professionally for classes but what does that really mean.......shirt and tie....or just business casual?

Thanks:sohappy:

I really enjoyed the class I took. It was called "Organizational Leadership" and I think (since you're a business major) that you might benefit from it. The classes were 4 hours long, once a week. There was a decent 10-15 minute break in the middle, but you were allowed to get up at any point and take a break if needed (i.e., bathroom, phone call, cigarette).

I took the class in 2003. We all had dress shirts and ties with (usually) black pants. It was fun dressing up - and seeing the ladies dressed up. I have heard from participants that in the past two years people have been slacking on their dress. When I was there, there would be the random kid who wore a dress shirt and that's about it... perhaps he didn't care, perhaps he couldn't afford better clothes. But everyone else looked sharp. I hope that the information I have gotten is wrong, but people I've talked to claim that over the past two years people haven't been very dressed up at all.

There are many good classes. Some are major-specific, but I don't think there is any that are restricted to only business majors. I'm considering a second CP for Fall 07(after this semester I will finally graduate). I'm probably going to take two classes, but at least I'm taking the "Professional Development Studies" course in Entertainment. Check the official CP website for the courses offered. You'll find at least one that you would benefit from.

Feel free to ask if you have any other questions. Or PM me if you want.
