Hello Everyone
`we are a family lucky enough to be coming to the WL from the UK this August for 3 weeks. Any feedback onto the best courtyard rooms to go for, what floor and what kind of a view we may get - thank you in advance - Jonathan

Your courtyard view room will face the central courtyard which includes the falls and Silver Creek pool. This was our 5th floor courtyard view last month ~

Since the lodge only has one pair of working elevators (the ones off the lobby are closed due to the DVC construction) I recommend asking for a room on the first floor. The wait for the elevator was very long and quickly grew tiresome whenever we needed to come and go from our room. We would have preferred the ability to walk to Roaring Fork, lobby, transportation (which a first floor room would have allowed) rather than depend on the elevator.

This is the view from room 4035. We stayed there in Jan. 2016. It's a courtyard view room with 1 queen and 1 bunk bed. It's close to the rear elevators which give you quick access to Roaring Fork and Silver Creek Springs pool. You can even get a view of Wishes from the windows at the end of the hallway which was a nice bonus. Great room! Highly recommend it.

We were in room 5035 last month.

Right next to the stairs, which we used more than the elevators.. but we were close to those as well.

Look at the difference in our pics. Pre construction and during lol. It didn't bother me though.
