We all know that the Country Bear Jamboree is outdated, and it could use an overhaul (sort of like the Tiki Room update to Iago and Zazu, but with a better storyline.)
How about a new script for the show featuring the classic characters, the classic scenes, but all new, more contemporary songs. Another good addition could be having Fozzie Bear, desperate for a job, coming to the theater to get hired. Unfortunately, the current residents don't think he's "country" enough, so he is denied. Various (failed) attempts of him trying to sing with the cast members ensue, until the very end, when Henry finally decides to let him join the show. At this point, Fozzie has already gotten multiple album, TV show, and movie deals, leaving the Country Bears to sing the exit song.
Some might criticize the addition of a Muppet character to the show, but I think it could actually work and be really funny.
