Counter service question

We have purchased the counter service plan for Sept '09---do our children ( all under 9) have to order off the "kids" menu for the counter service. I know that would have to if it was a table service, but not sure of counter.

Yes, they order from the kids meals at the Counter service retaurants ... I don't know if you can negotiate or not for picky eaters etc.

CS Dining

Hello, Based on our experience, the dining system sees the TS credit as adult or child, but it does not see the CS credit that way, so you should be able to order a regular meal for your kids. BTW, do you realize that you will be in WDW (sept. 2009) during the FREE dining period. If you booked your trip with dining anytime before july 28? and paid for your dining, you can get all your money back for the dining plan if you call WDW and have them make the adjustment. They will not automatically refund your money for a paid dining plan unless you call and tell them you are aware of the promo. MikeB

We booked thru a DVC member so did not pay the "rack room" rate......no free dining plan because of that. Still the amount of $ we saved on the 1 bedroom villa more than makes up for the free dining plan!--thnx

We look at it like this. We get 2 adult and 1 child meal at counter service. Who eats what is then up to us. We have 2 kids but 1 is under 3 so no meal plan. We will order 2 adult meals and 1 kid meal. I will sometimes eat the kid meal and have the boys share my adult meal as it will come with more food.

We could not order any more adult meals then was on our dining plna. 2 adults 2 kids, the CM told us we could order max of 2 adult meals.? But my kids were small eaters so we just shared all our meals. I think the only time w did not have to get a childs meal, was when the CS did not have a childs choice.

thnx for the info., likely then if it has a "kids" menu they will have to order off it, if they dont then the entire menu is fair game for them.
