My wife, 4 kids, and I are heading to WDW for the first time in early December, along with my wife's brother and his family. We're excited, but I am a diabetic and my 6-yr old nephew has severe allergies to milk products, eggs, and peanuts.
I've tried to search for nutritional information on foods served in the parks, but so far the message seems to be 'Disney refuses to give out nutritional information.' Of course, I've read how accommodating they will be to guests' dietary needs at table service restaurants, but we won't be eating at those places most of the time (for $ reasons and b/c we have 4 kids under 7!).
Does anyone have any advice about how to find out what's in the food at counter service restaurants, or whom I might contact at Disney to try to press for more info? Does anyone have advice based on personal experience about doing Disney w/ diabetes or food allergies? Or know of some good sites to check out to learn more?
