Hi guys,
Just wondering what options there are at most counter services when it comes to dipping sauces. Are we looking at the standard ketchup, mustard, mayo? Anyone know if they do barbeque, or sweet chilli etc?
I love chicken fingers, but only with sweet and sour sauce. The only places that carry it are at the resorts. I always grab a handful and take one with me to the parks if it's gonna be a fast food day.
I remember ketchup and BBQ sauce being the most frequent choices (and sometimes the only advertised choices), although they don't have to be: my DH, who likes to order chicken fingers himself, would sometimes ask for a side of some other, "non-traditional" dipping sauce that appeared elsewhere on the menu -- Buffalo sauce advertised as coming on a sandwich, or creamy ranch dressing shown on a salad -- and CMs were always happy to oblige. Obviously, the availability of alternative sauces and dressings will vary depending on which CS restaurant you visit...
I usually get the chicken fingers at Cosmic Rays in MK and other like places and simply ask for a packet of Ranch dressing to dip them in and they are always happy to oblige.
The pumps usually have ketchup and mustard, Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bills and Casey's Corner also have pump free-flowing cheese. Then you'll also usually find little foil packets of honey mustard and BBQ sauce in with the utensils, sugar, salt and related items. So even if there's no honey mustard/bbq sauce at the pumps, check the pre-packaged items.
