Costumes for MVMCP?

I know a lot of people wear costumes for MNSSHP and I realize most people don't wear anything beyond, maybe, seasonal sweaters and funny hats for MVMCP, but are costumes allowed for MVMCP? Have you ever seen anyone wear a costume to MVMCP?

Yes, you are very much allowed to dress up in costumes while at the party. My mother went as Little Red Riding Hood, my sister as a pirate, my brother-in-law as a Scotsman, and myself as Ramona Flowers. What I don't think you're allowed to do is to dress up as a Disney face character.

At the Christmas party?

Oh man! My bad. I just came from MNSSHP and cannot seem to wrap my head around MVMCP. :o

I was going to say...those are some interesting costumes for the Christmas party!

Everything I found in the rules/FAQ suggests this would be okay, but I might shoot an email to guest communications to double check. Even then, there's always the chance of a Cast Member not knowing the rules and giving me guff. It's not going to be too "involved" of a costume, so maybe I could just claim I'm odd and that's how I normally dress.

My co-worker has gone in the past and yea they wear Holiday stuff..shirts, santa hats..that stuff but no full blown costumes.... People eben put Christmas lights on their strollers! This year we are going (for the first time) and I plan on bringing my santa hat to wear!:xmas:

I would assume it would depend how elaborate the costume was - a full-blown Santa outfit would probably not be a good idea, but something a little more "toned down" shouldn't be a problem. I usually wear my Figment Santa hat and a Mickey scarf to be festive. :)

Id like to se you go as father time Tom, ala the old stop animation special.
Would baby new year be inappropriate?
