Costume Before MNSSHP?

I know the official rule is no costumes during normal park hours for those 14+, but would there really be an issue on party days if I dressed up before 7:00pm?

I know people who enter after 4:00pm are fine from experience, but what about before that? The only reason I ask is that I wouldn't mind having some pictures taken at CRT in costume before then (and yes, I would have a party ticket for that night).

As a side note, I saw a family of three all dressed as Peter Pan characters on my last trip in February, which I thought was strange given Disney's stricter policies, although it didn't bother me.

I’m curious, too. For example, adults can do Pirates League. If you get pirated up the day of a party, do you have to wait to put your costume on til 4?

The one time I did PL was on the afternoon of a party day. I was done by 2:30pm, but the only things I wore were what they gave me (including the sash that said "pirates league" on it), so it wasn't an issue.
