I realize this is not a DCL issue, but the summary is a good clear summary of what happened to the Concordia and I thought all cruisers should see how a series of events and neglect of duty can sink a vessel.

My point here is to take all muster drills and safety onboard a vessel seriously

Costa = Carnival subsidiary...i think the actions go beyond safety drills...i personally stack it up to human error and Carnival's record of doing the bare minimum to save $$$...I know it sites language as an issue but being on a cruise, there were A LOT of people who don't speak English...if there was a problem even Disney would have had communications breakdown with some guests...

Of course it does go beyond drills and life vests, my point is people do need to take the drills seriously.

Right now 6 people are facing charges, the Master of course, 3 other officers and 2 people from the Costa office.

32 people, mostly passengers, assaults and children, but a few CM's as well were killed. 30 bodies have been recovered and 2 remain in a spot in the hull Divers cannot get to safely, so the bodies will be recovered after the wreck is upright and pumped out.
