Coronado Springs

I just got off the phone with WDTC and was quoted $154 per night at Coronado Springs. Is this normal rate? Has anyone stayed there and if you dont mind me asking, what rate did you get. I really would like to stay here next trip, but this rate is a bit much for the budget.

That is probably the normal rack rate for that time of year, but Disney will never offer any info on promotions over the phone. I'm with hellokitty 1. You can't beat mousesavers. On the site you can find codes that will get you a better deal. We're paying $89/night at Port Orleans next month when the usual rack rate is $133. If you're an annual passholder you can get great deals too.

I've stayed at CSR twice and like it very much. I also like POFQ. Some pluses for CSR:

Since it has a convention center it has some "business type features" such as:
coffee pots in the room
irons and ironing boards in the room
a much nicer sit down restaurant than the one at POR (IMO)

It has a very nice pool and a lovely lagoon area which reminds me of that in the Epcot resorts area.

It also offers a bus directly to the Boardwalk area which is great for hitting the restaurants there in the evening or for a quick exit from Epcot after Illuminations (walk from the International gateway instead of leaving from the main exit of Epcot).

Some of the downsides to the hotel are that you will see people in business suits and this turns some vacationers off. The Pepper Market is set up different than other food courts. Probably my biggest negative is that there is only a single sink. My husband and I have become use to dual sinks. LOL.

now through 2/15? the rate at the moderates is $84, and the All Stars is $49. Annual ticket holders.
