Coronado Springs Casitas refurbs underway

It looks like pretty much the whole of Casitas at Coronado Springs is currently under the room refurbishments.

It should read they are winding down. The renovation team is working on the last two buildings, casita 1 & 3. Once they are done, every room at CSR will be complete. You can no longer get a room that has a full size bed or has not been renovated.

Well I guess relative to what they have done they are winding down, but they have a heck of a lot of rooms to go.

We check in on next Friday the 21st. It is our first stay at CSR. The new rooms look amazing.

Any particular building that is anyone's fav? I'd like to be fairly close to a bus stop since we don't have a car this trip. :shrug:

Casitas 4 or 5. We stayed in 5 & the walk to Bus Stop #2 was very short. Plus the great thing about this stop was that you are actually first on & first off. That helps when it is busy.

I agree. We love Casitas 4 or 5--they are our favorite buildings. We've stayed in those two buildings five of our seven stays; the other two we were in Casitas 2 and 3. We are going, unexpectedly, in September for four nights and we've requested Ranchos or Cabanas...we figured it was time for a change of scenery.

The 4th floors of casitas 1 & 3 were already done prior to the renovation team starting on the bottom 3 floors on 7/30. It won't be long now. They will finish easily on schedule...Oct 2009.
