Coronado Springs bus lines

I am thinking about staying at Coronado Springs in May, and I was just curious: how bad are the bus lines in comparison to all other resorts?

I've only stayed at Coronado and POR but I can't say I've noticed much of a difference between the two since both have multiple stops. Coronado may been slightly more busy. It probably follows the typical crowd patterns. The only wrench is the new tower has added more rooms to the property. If you want a short (or no) line, catch one of the first busses, if not the first, in the AM or wait until the early afternoon. The Minnie Vans are also an alternative.

You can have a good day or bad day catching buses at any of the resorts. On a short stay, a week or less, a few of those experiences will stay imprinted in your memory. That said, I found Coronado to be no worse or better for buses than any other resort. It should be and mostly is a demand-based experience. The more people lined up for the buses, the more they will send. At Coronado you may feel it worse at times because the resort is so large and it's still quite a hike to get back to your room when you are tired at night or during an afternoon rain storm.

I've stayed at Riverside 4 times and Coronado Springs once and that was last year. Our experience during March was that the buses at Coronado were often less busy than those at POR. I'm assuming it's because there were more people at CSR for conventions, etc and weren't taking up much space on the bus. The lines at the end of the day were also shorter than POR. We would often be at the bus stop at both resorts about an hour or so before park opening, leave in the middle of the day to go back to the resort, and then return to a park around 5pm and stay until closing. While Riverside will always be my favorite resort, I did prefer the central location to the parks at Coronado although it felt like forever to get to Disney Springs.

CSR has very good bus service to and from the parks. Convention guests usually help keep the buses and pools less crowded.

I’ll agree w the prevailing theme here- it’s not bad at all, to the point where I’ve said things like “how is it Coronado can do multiple stops and be fine, but a bus back to Saratoga has lines like Flight of Passage?”

We are staying in a moderate for the first time this January and right now, our top choice is Coronado :) Hopefully when the tower opens, they will add more buses to their fleet, more CMs in the food court etc. Seems like a no brainer but I guess you never know ;)

The resorts don’t exactly have a fleet of buses.

Been here for several days and the transportation has been great. No complaints at all. Service has been much better than our past experiences at CBR, the All Stars, Pop, AoA and far superior to AKL. POFQ is our fave place but the bus stop can be a mess with everyone smashed into one place and everyone wanting to be first on.
As for the tower, remember a lot of rooms were demolished to make way for the tower so it’s not like the resort will double in occupancy. Much of it is a wash.
As for the conventioneers, we’ve seen many of the taking Uber or other transportation. I don’t think they’ve been taking up much bus space.
