I have stayed @ Coronado Springs the last two years & stayed in Bldg. 9B both times. It is definitely the place you want to stay. Read my review of Coronado below along with pics:
I am not an expert, However having spent the last 2 trips @ Coronado Springs, I can say this. CSR is outstanding. If you request Building 9B (specifically 9550 - 9554, this is first floor facing lake) you can't go wrong. You are about 20 - 25 yards from the Main Bus stop, 50 yards from Main Building (Gift Shop, Food Court, Restaurant, etc.) & 50 yards from the Dig Site (Across bridge - Main Pool). Plus, there is a beach with hammocks right out your front door. The Ice / Vending Machines are about 15 yards away & if you need to go anywhere else in the resort, there are golf carts that come by periodocally. I have requested this building & this room range both trips & was assigned Room 9554 both times. The staff was Very accomodating & the resort is Fabulous. There are also boat & bike rentals available at the dock right outside the Main building. There is a very long path that goes around the entire resort that is very nice for bike riding, walking or jogging. If this isn't enough to convince you, let me leave you with these pictures.
This one is taken from near the Main Bus Stop & that is Building 9B just across the lake. The bus stop is actually to my left about 30 feet & is attached to the Main building. That bridge to the left is the only thing that seperates bldg. 9B from the Main bldg & bus stop. The Dig Site is straight ahead of those tall palm trees. Just across that bridge, you come to the second bridge which leads to the Dig Site.
This one is taken from the bridge leading to the Dig Site. At this point I am about halfway between Bldg 9B & the Dig Site.
Here is a couple of the Dig Site. The pool is just below the bottom edge of this picture. There is also a Kiddie Playground, Sand Pit Dig Site, Beach Volleyball, Game Room, Pool Bar & Hot Tub in this area. Then there is the Jaguar Slide which comes from the back side of the Pyramid into the pool. Very, Very
And here is one more view of the Main Building from the bridge. :sohappy:
