COP open June 12-15?

Does anyone know if Carosel of Progress will be open June 12-15? This would seem like busy vacation season to me. I'm hoping it will be!:)

I don't think it will be. I e-mailed them about June 1-7 and they said it is only in operation during peak seasons such as Christmas, Easter, and the 4th of July week. I really do miss this attraction but I guess our opinion does not matter.

I'll be there June 4th thru the 9th, Terry. I'm disappointed that COP won't be open over these dates too. Especially when Disney knows for a fact that the Magic Kingdom will be PACKED to the rafters on Saturday June 7th, you'd think they could open it for that weekend. :(

When did they start opening CoP only during peak times? The first time I went to Disney World (April 1993), I got the chance to ride it. I am going back to Disney World for the second time (first time for my fiancé now...wife when we get to Disney World) June 15 - June 21. I was really hoping to get the chance to see CoP again.

I don't understand, I thought June was actually considered a peak time at Disney World?!?!?

Right after 9/11 they closed Timekeeper and CoP. Since then they have only opened them during extremel busy vacation periods. It wasn't even open for President's week while I was there and that is also considered a peak time. Its frustrating. as I love CoP and really want to get to see it again.

I just caught myself in the threads of one my most favorite things! Now...let's see....

LAST summer, the Carousel of Progress was open from June to mid-August, so I would say YES! I'm pretty sure, as long as attendance is up - and I hear SARS is making a cutback, so I may take a visit :animwink: - I'll make sure to call in the coming weeks. Cross your fingers!
