does anyone know if those drinks really are used in the countries they originate from


do people in italy really drink the beverly??


its kindof like mineral water but not really cause i like perrier but i cant stand the beverly

Yes, people do drink Beverly's in Italy. ALthough Orangina is much more popular there right now, as is Diet Coke (Coke Lite in Italy). Remember, before Coke and Pepsi started to dominate the world market, every country developed their own sodas based on what business people tasted when they visited places like the USA. IN general, european sodas are much less sweet then the US counterparts - anyone that has been to Italy, or Paris, or even the UK can tell you that diet cokes and cokes "don't taste the same" because they are not - they don't have as much real or artificial sweetener added....note: even it Italy, Beverly's are NOT popular -- they sit around in the deli soda coolers as a last choice if you can't find Orangina or Diet Coke.
