Indeed...right after I posted I was able to see the photo.

We're big Typhonn Lagoon fans...hope G & G is open in mid-March

I hope they are planning to somehow "camouflage" the tubes. Looks rather plain IMO.

^^According to the backstory (yes, even a water slide gets a story), the "tubes" once served as chutes to transport fruit through an old fruit washing facility, part of the "Typhoon Lagoon legend". The tubes themselves have already been painted to appear old and rusty, as compared to their "new" look when first installed (compare to earlier photos). I imagine though that they will be even more disguised within lush foilage as landscaping around the site has only started.

Yes, but this type of water slide is very much like a roller coaster and I understand why people may have the same fear for both. I would actually say it was worse for a water slide, well, for me at least, because you are far more free and the feel of danger is far greater. at least on a roller coaster you are clamped, buckled and squished in! On this u will just sit in a rubber ring! that's it! But of course, it IS perfectly safe and i for one am going to ride it asap!
