Convention tickets

Anyone have experience using the after 1pm convention tickets? Will we be allowed entry for a 12:45 lunch reservation, similar to how you are allowed in early to the park for breakfast ADRs? We've always done full vacations at WDW, but this time we're going for other reasons and just have half a day to spend in MK

PPO bookings are different, no attractions are open in the park, so you wouldn't gain any benefit from being inside the turnstile. The verbage on the ADR says you need to have valid park admission, and since your 1PM ticket wouldn't technically be valid park admission at 12:45 (or earlier if you were trying to get to the restaurant host stand for 12:45), I wouldn't expect you to be let in.
