Contemporary Tower Rooms

Hi All,
We booked an August 2022 trip in March 2021.

We wanted to stay in a park view tower room at the Contemporary, but were told it couldn't be booked as it was under renovation, so we booked the Polynesian instead, but were told that we could easily change the booking to the Contemporary at a later date.

I've checked almost weekly since then, and no tower rooms have become available yet.

Is the Contemporary still being renovated so unavailable for booking, or has every room in the tower REALLY been booked already?

Does anyone who's been to the Contemporary recently know?

The tower renovations were complete last week. It doesn’t mean all the rooms are booked, however. Disney is still short-staffed with housekeeping and all rooms are not yet back in inventory. Don’t stress ~ continue to check back regularly, as availability will eventually open up.

It looks like the website will let me book a Main Tower - Theme Park view room for the entire month of August 2022 right now so there must be availability. How are you checking for availability? Have you called to try making the change?
